Satin Oak

Like the Caledonian Oak harvesting is on a very tight regime because of availability. Trees are only taken when damaged and of ‘over maturity’ for correct management of the forest.

This is considered the highest figured most decorative of all the oaks.

Historically used for large wide panels because of its size. The North Queensland timber represents all the very best oak features. Like the other oaks it is very easy to work with and glues well. Can be used for all furniture and decorative applications.
